A Parent or Grandparent Super Visa

  • Super visa is a visa basically for parents and grandparents to visit their children in Canada for a longer period of time, up to 2 years at a time. The children or grandchildren must be Canadian Citizens or Canadian Permanent Residents.
  • Super Visa is issued for a period of 10 years, and it allows for re-entry into Canada during this timeframe. It doesn’t allow any to work in Canada.

Super Visa Eligibility Criteria

  • From outside of Canada, apply for a super visa.

  • Allowed to be entered in Canada.
  • Have medical insurance from a Canadian insurance agency that is:
  • Valid for 1 year from the date of section.

  • Have verification that the medical insurance has been paid (quotes aren’t accepted)
